Sasha and the Stylish Blogger Award

I have been so busy lately that I forgot to receive this awesome award. It was passed on to me by Karen aka knitalatte. Thank you, Karen. I am honored and pleased. It is nicew to know that people read my blog and even think that it is STYLISH ! How cool is that?! Karen has a nice blog herself, so go and check it out.

Now, what am I doing these days, you ask. I have 5 projects in the works at the same time right now and I started my new semester at work. So, I am a little busy...
I wish I could show you what I am sending out today to Soho Publishing. There are two projects that were so much fun to design and to make. It was hard for me to say goodbye to them, but I know they will be in great hands of professional stylists and I am expecting incredible photographs showing off these two designs.

What I can show today is my Sasha. It is designed for Bijou Basin Ranch using their incredible 100% yak down. I love to work with this yarn. It behaves in the most obedient manner.
The look of this top is casual on the border with dressy. The lace stitch pattern makes it light and breezy. I absolutely fell in love with the buttons. I wish you could touch them. They feel velvety. Yum! If you follow the above link for Bijou Basin, you can purchase this pattern on their website. If you want to see their designs live, check their website for their shows.

Last thing. This top was one of three designs which represented Bijou Basin Ranch (BBR) yarn company at the Fashion show at TNNA in Long Beach CA in January and it was spotted in the booth of BBR in NY during the fabulous Vogue Knitting Live.
