Interweave Knits, Spring 2011 is out in the mail!! I did not get mine yet, but I see it online already. Beautiful issue with many very light and ready for Spring designs. I was waiting for this moment for some time now.

I absolutely fell in love with this design as I was working on it. The yarn was perfect. It was Schulana Merino Cotton 135. It had enough drape to it to realize the bubble effect. The silhouette is so flattering that anyone can wear it. You can wear it as a tunic by itself or style it as shown in the magazine photos.

Here is the information about Lara:

Notions Stitch holders; markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge 24 sts and 33 rnds = 4" in St st on larger needle; 26 sts and 45 rnds = 4" in cable patt on smaller needle.

Monique was the first to model it, so here is how she is wearing it.

This color is not easy to photograph. It is somewhere in between mine and the magazine's photos. It is more olive gold, I would say.

Sorry about a "skirt" that Monique is wearing. I was in a hurry and just draped her with what I had at the moment. Things like this do not feel wrong unless you see the photo...

Anyway, I hope you like it as much as I do and will make it for you or someone you would like this to wear.
