A Quiet House

For a whole week we had guests in our house. They were coming one-by-one. My brother and his wife came first and we took them to see Oregon. They loved it.
This is Crater Lake in Oregon. I took many pictures of it before, but was not successful. My brother used my camera this time and and took this incredible shot. The blue is very close to the true color. This lake is not far from Ashland, OR. You do not think I missed the opportunity to take a peak at Websters, do you? It is a beautiful yarn shop. We also had tickets to see a nice production of Much Ado about Nothing at this theater. I love the open sky full of stars as we are watching the play. I did not take this picture either. When we came back home, we had another person there and they were coming and coming.
988 11.1282 One day we had 20 people. The did not all stay with us, by the way. It was so great to see them all. My husband had a special birthday and he loved all the attention he got that day. Many people called from different countries to say Happy Birthday to him. Starting Sunday our guests were leaving also one-by-one. Today in the morning the last one left. The house is very quiet. So strange. Suddenly we are faced with work and routine that is forgotten during our long break at Stanford. I honestly am surprised that I remember how to teach. Here is to a good semester!

If someone wants to make my Dolce Slouch, it is available as a free download from Cascade Yarns.
