The photo of our book cover

It is so exciting!!! We have officially received the photo of the book cover. It looks very nice. July will be here at no time and the book will be at the stores. People are putting their names on the waiting list at our local shop HeartStrings Yarn Studio for a signed copy. I guess, it is real.

I have to say that Martingale and Company people were so wonderful to us and helpful, that we felt we made the right choice when we were thinking about the publishing house.

I am also very proud of Dawn. She is doing so well with publications of her designs. It is well deserved! Look her up in the Vogue Knitting, Spring 2008, patt # 30 and in the upcoming Interweave Knits. Besides, if you are on Ravelry (I love it there!) you can look her up there as DawnL.

Our book is going to print this Thursday!!

We are working on the page proofs for the last time. Although I see the book cover and all the pictures, I cannot wait to see the actual book. I think it will look very good. We had such a great experience working with all the people at Martingale & Company. Everyone of them was nice and we felt we were included as part of the team.
It feels like we are sending our kid to live on his/her own out there. So, world, here it is -"Casual, Elegant Knits". There are 24 great projects for every taste. Enjoy!

I am learning a lot

Boy, it takes so much time to set up everything... It is all in the development stage, so please be kind. I go between this blog, revelry pages, and our webpage to get all the elements I need. I am getting there, though.
Here are the two pictures of most people in our KC group. Some people were either sick or did not come that day. I will catch them later.

The projects will come next. Soon. I promise.
